Alkborough St John the Baptist is an Ancient Parish which includes Walcot and overlooks the confluence of the rivers Trent and Ouse in the Humber estuary.
The church dates from the 11th century with additions in subsequent centuries and rebuilding in 1887 and has been designated as grade I listed buliding by English Heritage Listed Building
