Chapel History

ARKENDALE, a chapelry (St. Bartholomew), in the parish of Knaresborough, Lower division of the wapentake of Claro, West Riding of Yorkshire, 4 miles (N. E.) from Knaresborough. The living is a perpetual curacy. There is a Wesleyan chapel.[1]
