Parish History

Ashton in Makerfield Holy Trinity is a chapel of ease created in 1838 and lying within the parish boundary of Ashton in Makerfield, Lancashire St Thomas' ancient parish.

Other places in the parish include: Haydock which had a chapelry built in 1866.
