Record Description

This collection contains records for the years 1847-1989.

This collection contains miscellaneous records for Maryborough, Queensland, Australia. Records include burial registers, hospital death registers, lists of residents, lists of war memorials and honor rolls giving soldiers' names. Original records are located in Maryborough City Hall, Queensland, Australia.

  • Last Residence
  • Occupation
  • Age
  • Gender
  • Place of birth
  • Date of burial
  • Burial plot number
  • Cause of death

These hospital registers may contain the following information:

  • Name of patient
  • Date of registry
  • Hospital
  • Name of doctor

How to Use the Record

To begin your search in the burial registers, it would be helpful if you knew the following information:

  • Name
  • Approximate year and place of death

Searching the Collection

To search the collection image by image, select "Browse through images" on the initial collection page:
⇒Select the appropriate "Item of Interest" which will take you to the images.

Look at the images one by one comparing the information with what you already know about your ancestors to determine if the image relates to them. You may need to look at several images and compare the information about the individuals listed in those images to your ancestors to make this determination.
