Church Records

Bakke Clerical District contains priest and sexton records from the parishes Bakke, Gyland until 1893, Øvre Sirdal (Lunde) and Tonstad. They were separated from the combined Lund clerical district in Rogaland county in 1741. Øvre Sirdal and Tonstad were separated from Bakke clerical district as Sirdal clerical district in 1849.

1666-1889: Probates may be found in Lister og Lyngdal judicial district in Vest-Agder County.

1666-1741: Probates may be found in Jæren og Dalane judicial district in Rogaland County. Bakke was separated from Lund clerical district in 1741.

1810-1887: Probates may be found in Flekkefjord judicial district in Vest-Agder County.
