Parish History

BEMPTON (St. Michael), a parish, in the union of Bridlington, wapentake of Dickering, East Riding Yorkskhire, 3¼ miles (N. N. E.) from Bridlington; Other places in parish include: Newsham, Newsome, and Newsholme. The living is a perpetual curacy. There is a place of worship for Primitive Methodist and Wesleyans Medthodist.[1] [2]
