Parish History 

BRAFFERTON (St. Peter), a parish,in the union of Easingwould, wapentakes of Hallikeld and Bulmer, North Riding, Yorkshire. Other places in the parish include: Helperby,Thornton-Bridge,Thornton Briggs.There is a place of worhip for Wesleyan Methodist. [1] [2]
