History Timeline up to about 1930

  • 1879 - The people were organize into a branch of the Church.
  • 1882 - On Sunday, Sept. 24, the branch was organized as the Cassia Ward of the Box Elder Stake.
  • 1887 - On Nov. 19, the saints residing in the Cassia Ward and vicinity were separated from the Box Elder Stake and organized as the Cassia Stake of Zion.
