Center Resources

Collections:   The Caswell FHC is small, in a rural area.  We have many Family Trees recorded for early residents of Caswell County, Person County and Orange County, NC

  • FamilySearch Catalog: This center has the ability to order any of the films and fiche available through the FamilySearch Catalog.

Databases and Software : We have sufficient computers but due to the rural area service is quite slow.  We prefer to assist customers at their home or at the FHC Directors home.  If reviewing microforms are needed then we will visit the site.

  • FHC Portal This center has access to the Family History Center Portal page which gives free access in the center to premium family history software and websites that generally charge for subscriptions.

Hardware and Equipment :  See above
