Parish History

Claverton is a civil parish in the Borough of Cheshire West and Chester and ceremonial county of Cheshire in England.

Claverton was an extra-parochial place in Broxton Hundred, which became a civil parish in 1858.
Including the hamlet of Iron Bridge.
It has no recorded inhabitants in recent decades and is open land on the banks of the River Dee.
