Church History

Coxheath is a village and civil parish in the Borough of Maidstone, Kent, see Coxheath Wikipedia

Coxheath Holy Trinity in the Diocese of Rochester is part of the benefice of Coxheath,  East Farleigh, KentHunton, KentLinton, Kent and  West Farleigh, Kent.

The church dates from 1883 and was built as a workhouse chapel and has been designated as a grade II listed building British Listed building

The workhouse site became Linton hospital which has since closed and Holy Trinity now serves as a village church within a small Ecclesiastical parish which was formed in 1996 which neighbours Linton, Kent within the benefice and Loose, Kent and East Farleigh, Kent to the north.

Kent County Council (KCC) has a certificate centre at the Mansion House in Tunbridge Wells which holds all the completed registers for Kent since 1 July 1837 and can supply a certified copy of any Kent birth, death or marriage entry from any register within its custody or a Kent civil partnership registration from the government online database.
