FamilySearch This article describes the services and resources available at a Family History Center, a branch facility of the Family History Library.



  • 480 North Walkup Ave.  Crystal Lake, Illinois 60014
  • Please come and see our new FHC location (enter using the NE door facing Walkup Rd.) Ring buzzer.

ATTENTION: FHC WILL BE CLOSED Saturday, February 1st .

  • Due to severe temperatures and wind chill, the Family History Center will be CLOSED all day and evening on Saturday.

A general rule of thumb: If the local schools are closed due to extreme weather conditions, the Crystal Lake Family History Center will also be closed. Thank you.
