Township Number 17 Middle Division, Bingham's Penobscot Purchase (T17 MD BPP) (Washington Co.) was first organized as Annsburg Plantation, aka Annsburgh, aka Annsborough, in 1841. This plantation was incorporated as the Town of Deblois in 1852.[1]
