Deciphering German Script is a guideline to help the genealogist to decipher text written in German Gothic (Kurrentschrift). See also interactive videos at FamilySearch/Learn, and "Knowing your German phrases" for birth, marriage, and death.

By permission of the author, Norbert Willmann, 3 lessons on decipering German script are located at his website: www.nw-service.at/genealogie.html .  These lessons are all in German.  Bei Genehmigung von Norbert Willmann sind drei Aufgaben auf seine Website vorhanden.  Die sind alle auf Deutsch.
