This church was formerly known as Relief Presbyterian. This will tell you of the history of this parish, the records with year ranges (if any), and the source where the information came from.

History

This congregation originated in 1787. A number of persons belonging to the Relief Church having settled in Dundee, petitioned the Relief Presbytery of Perth to be formed into a congregation. The petition was granted, and a church was erected in Chapelshade in 1788.
