The FamilySearch Research Help content was reviewed for possible inclusion in FamilySearch Research Wiki. This article documents the decisions that were made. The task to move content from FamilySearch Research Help to FamilySearch Research Wiki is now in the beginning stages of a wiki barn raising. The content that needs moving to the Wiki is divided by locality where possible:

The remaining content was not specific to a single locality:

Glossary

The glossary in the Wiki was originally obtained from SourceGuide. The glossary on FamilySearch.org contains more content than what was obtained from SourceGuide. The glossary on FamilySearch.org contains a lot of translations from foreign languages to English. It is possible that the foreign language words in the FamilySearch glossary are repeated in the Word Lists. Further analysis is needed to know for sure. When working on this project the two glossaries need to be compared and additional terms added to the Wiki.

Sign up by editing this table and inserting three tildes (~~~) in the 'sign up...' column across from the task you want to copy into the Wiki from FamilySearch. After you have added the three tildes, click on the Save page button.
