St John the Evangelist Fitzroy Square is one of three chapels serving the Fitzroy Square district. St John was built by 1851, and lies within the civil parish of St Pancras. It was one of nearly 50 pre-1900 district churches which were built and established for this the largest and most populated borough in all of England.
