Record Description

The collection consists of an index to funeral sermons from the city archives in Minden. These records are in German.

For a list of records by alphabet currently published in this collection, select the Browse.

Record Content

Records may contain the following information:

  • Name
  • Approximate date of death
  • Date of marriage (if married)
  • Place of residence
  • Name of spouse
  • Name of family members (parents, spouse, etc.)

How to Use the Record

Search the Collection
To search the collection you will need to follow this series of links:

⇒Select "Name range" category which takes you to the images.

Search the collection by image comparing the information with what you already know about your ancestors to determine which one is your ancestor. You may need to compare the information about more than one person to make this determination.
