United States Maine Penobscot Greenfield
Greenfield is an extinct plantation and town, now an unorganized territory (township) in the East Central Penobscot townships in Penobscot County, Maine. Greenfield was first settled in 1812. The plantation was organized from Township 38 North of Bingham's Penobscot Purchase (T 38 NBPP). The town was created from Greenfield Plantation in 1834. The town's incorporation was repealed in 1993, and since then it has been unorganized territory.
