Parish History

'GUILDFORD, a borough and market - town with three parishes--Guildford Holy Trinity, Guildford St Nicholas, and St Mary's, having separate jurisdiction, and the head of a union, locally in the First division of the hundred of Woking, W. division of Surrey, 30 miles (S. W.) from London.'[1]
