Guilford is a town in New Haven County, Connecticut, United States, that borders Madison, Branford, North Branford and Durham.

First settled in 1639 after being purchased from Native American leader Wequash.

Probate Records

Guilford Probate District covers Towns of Guilford and North Branford, excluding Society of Northford. Constituted October session, 1719, from New Haven and New London. Middletown was set off May session, 1752.
