For the time frame 1943-1945 an alphabatical register is available as microfilm in the archive. For data after 1945 the state archive can merely give information because of privacy laws.

Furthermore a house register is available for 1939-1968, however, privacy laws apply here as well.

Civil registration books of the Marie 1811-1815

Church books of the Evangelical-Lutheran church of Hamburg before 1866

Church books of the Reformed Church before 1884 and the Mennonites

Civil Registration from 1866 to 1875

Records of cities annexed to Hamburg  in 1937 from Prussia (Altona, Harburg, Wandsbek) and parishes are in their books. This is also true for the Evangelical-Lutheran parishes of the Alt-Hamburg area from before 1865.

Records can be found in the appropriate Kirchenkreis of the Nordelbische Landeskirche.
