1858--Hamilton County was created 22 June 1858 from Bosque, Comanche, Lampasas, and Coryell Counties.
County seat: Hamilton 
1863, 1877, 1886--Courthouses and many county records were destroyed by fires in September 1863, March 1877, and February 1886.
