Parish History

This ancient parish (AP) was created before 1813. Church of England records began in 1739.

HOLMPTON, a parish, in the union of Patrington, S. division of the wapentake of Holderness, E. riding of York, 3½ miles (E. by N.) from Patrington; containing 197 inhabitants. There is a place of worship for Wesleyans. [1]
