Idaho newspapers were first published in the 1860s. Many currently published newspapers are available at the Idaho State Historical Society Library in Boise. Copies of some issues of older newspapers are also available on microfilm at the Idaho State Historical Society. Copies of newspaper collections or newspapers clippings may also be found at public and university libraries or historical societies locally.
