This collection will include records from 1965-2013.
These records include naturalization records from the Wonogiri District Court, Indonesia.
The early phase of Indonesia Immigration started when fishermen of Indonesia migrated to the neighboring islands, which include Singapore, Philippines, Australia and Palau. Immigration to Indonesia also took place at this time when huge populace from the Indian subcontinent visited the country and settled there.
The main immigration of Indonesia took place in the nineteenth century when people of Indonesia were sent to Australia for working in the pearl and sugarcane industries. Most of them had to return after World War II but few of them managed to stay back.

How to Use the Record
To begin your search in the naturalization records, it would be helpful if you knew the following information:
- Name of ancestor
- Last place of residence
- Approximate year of immigration
To begin your search in the birth certificates, it would be helpful if you knew the following information:
- Name of parents
- Approximate year and place of birth
Search This Collection
To search the collection image by image select "Browse through images" on the initial collection page
⇒ Select the appropriate "Record Type"
⇒ Select the appropriate "Year and Number(s)" which takes you to the images.
Look at the images one by one comparing the information with what you already know about your ancestors to determine if the image relates to them. You may need to look at several images and compare the information about the individuals listed in those images to your ancestors to make this determination.
Using the Collection
When you have found the information that you are looking for, the following will help you further your research:
- Use the age to calculate the year of birth
- Use the names of the parents to search for their naturalization records.
