The collection consists of civil registration (stato civile) of births, marriages, and deaths originally microfilmed at the Genova Courthouse (Tribunale di Genova). Since the time of microfilm capture in 2002, some portion of the original records have been transferred to the Genova State Archive (Archivio di Stato di Genova). Includes ten-year indexes (indici decennali); residency records (cittadinanze); and marriage banns (pubblicazioni). Availability of records is largely dependent on time period and locality.
