Record Description

The collection consists of civil registration (stato civile) of births, marriages, and deaths within the custody of the State Archive of Pesaro, Fano Regional Office (Archivio di Stato di Pesaro, Sezione di Fano). The collection includes supplemental documents (allegati); marriage banns and oppositions (pubblicazioni ed opposizioni); baptisms (battesimi); and baptisms of foundlings (battesimi esposti). Also included are censuses (censimenti; ruolo generale della popolazione; situazioni di famiglia) for the years 1808-1814, 1890-1908. Availability of records is largely dependent on time period and locality.
