Record Description

The collection consists of civil registration (stato civile) of births, marriages, and deaths within the custody of the State Archive of Torino (Archivio di Stato di Torino). Includes supplemental records (allegati); ten-year indexes (indici decennali); and marriage banns (pubblicazioni). Availability of records is largely dependent on time period and locality. This collection covers the years 1802 to 1813.

How to Use the Record

To search the collection, select "Browse through images" on the initial collection page,
⇒ Select the “Provincia”
⇒ Select the “Comune o frazione”
⇒ Select the “Registro e L'Anno” that takes you to the images.

Look at the images one by one comparing the information with what you already know about your ancestors to determine which one is your ancestor. You may need to compare the information about more than one person to make this determination.
