This collection contains civil registration (stato civile) of births, marriages, and deaths within the custody of the State Archive of Firenze (Archivio di Stato di Firenze).
For the most part, this collection contains records for the modern region of Tuscany (Toscana). Additional smaller portions of the collection are for the modern regions of Emilia-Romagna, Liguria, and Umbria. The provinces represented in the collection include the following:
- La Spezia
- Massa e Carrara
The availability of records is largely dependent on time period and locality. The collection covers the years 1808 to 1923.
