St. Ann, Moor Lane, Lancaster was a district church and was erected in 1796,consecrated as a chapelry.
Lancaster St Anne was an Ecclesiastical Parish in the county of Lancashire, created in 1812 from Lancaster St Mary, Lancashire Ancient Parish. It was constituted as a district Church.
The church was built in 1796 by the Reverend Robert Housman, who served as a local Justice of the Peace for the county and as vicar for over 40 years.
The church became redundant in 1957 and is now the Duke's, Lancaster (formerly the Duke's Playhouse)
