Chapel History

Lancaster (St John the Evangelist) was created a chapel of ease in the county of Lancashire, created in 1755 from and lying within the boundaries of Lancaster St Mary ancient parish. It was completely repaired in 1836 but is currently a redundant Anglican church in North Road.[1]
