Chapelry History

BILLINGTON-LANGHO, a township anddistrict chapelry, in the parish, union, and Lower division of the hundred, of Blackburn, N. division of the county of Lancaster, 5½ miles north by northeast of Blackburn.  The chapel is seated in the hamlet of Langho, and is called Langho chapel; it is an ancient structure.  There is a Roman Catholic chapel built here.[1]
