Chapelry History

LITTLE CROSBY a township which a district chapel built and in the parish of Sefton, union and hundred of West Derby, S. division of the county of Lancaster, 7¾ miles north by west of Liverpool. The Roman Catholic chapel here, dedicated to the Blessed Virgin, was rebuilt in 1847."[1] It is known as St. Mary's Church and maintains a strong presence in this area.
