HULTON, LITTLE, or Peel Chapel, was a chapelry, in the parish of Deane, union of Bolton, hundred of Salford, S. division of Lancashire, 4½ miles souht of Bolton. The chapel, dedicated to St Paul, was consecrated in 1760.
There are places of worship for Independents, Primitive Methodists, and Wesleyan Methodists.
Birth, marriages and deaths were kept by the government, from July 1837 to the present day. The civil registration article tells more about these records. There are several Internet sites with name lists or indexes. A popular site is FreeBMD.
