What is a Volunteer? Someone who has the time, talent and desire to give to others.

What is a Specialist? Someone who knows a lot about an area or a topic.

What is a Concierge? Someone who serves as a conduit for the many wonderful resources available for researchers. You will use your expertise to direct others to the resources they need to break down their brick walls.

How do these work together? First you volunteer your skills to help others. Then you decide the areas or topics in which you can be a specialist. As a concierge you are the front line on phone calls from patrons who need help.
