Live Research Assistance: Set or update scheduleEdit This Page

MANAGE YOUR TIME
Why we ask for scheduled time
Research Assistance receives calls around the clock, and therefore, we need to coordinate the efforts of all of our volunteers to ensure coverage.
It is important for the continuity of the program that volunteers maintain a consistent schedule. If possible, it is best that you work the same shift each week. We ask for a minimum of 2 hours per week but would appreciate as many hours as you can comfortably contribute.
Please contact Sister Olga Gonzalez at email@example.com with your proposed schedule.
When starting a shift, log into the Live Research Assistance Skype group and use the emoticon for “thumbs up” and give the hours you will be on phones and/or chat.
When done with your shift, log off with the “thumbs down” emoticon. The other volunteers and missionaries will know that you are working and they will be available for any help you need during your shift.
If you are unable to work your scheduled shift, please inform the Live Assistance Skype group. Someone will be found to cover for you.
Other volunteer opportunities:
If you are able to volunteer more than 12 hours a week you might consider a Church Service Mission with FamilySearch where you are able to serve from the comfort of your home. Note: this option is only available to members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
For more information visit the service missionary page or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
