Chapelry History

Liverpool St Philip Harman Road/Shiel Road was created a chapel of ease from and lying within the boundaries of Liverpool St Peter and St Nicholas, Lancashire in 1816. The church cost £12,000 and was opened on 3 November 1816.

The church closed in 1882 when the land was sold by public auction 25 July 1882.
