LIVERPOOL (St Simon) was created a district church in 1846 from, and lying within the civil boundaries of Liverpool St Peter and St Nicholas. This church was later demolished in 1866 to be replaced by railway. St Simon's Parish church, Gloucester-street and Silver Street, consecrated 14 June 1872; following relocation by the London and North-western Railway Company. (Source F.
