This Collection will include records from 1793 to 1923.

The events are recorded either in French or German totally by hand or in partially pre-printed books where the information is then entered by hand. The name of a child not registered when born will not be given in the death record, but the gender of that child will be. How to Use the Records

Search the Collection

To search the collection image by image select "Browse through images" on the initial collection page
⇒ Select the appropriate "Municipality/Town"
⇒ Select the appropriate "Record Type and Years" which takes you to the images

Look at the images one by one comparing the information with what you already know about your ancestors to determine which one is your ancestor. You may need to compare the information about more than one person to make this determination.
