How to Use the Record
To search this collection for birth records, it would be helpful if you knew the following information:
- Names of parents
- Father's occupation
To search this collection for marriage records, it would be helpful if you knew the following information:
- Names of the bride or groom
- Birth year
To search this collection for death records, it would be helpful if you knew the following information:
- Birth year
- Name of ancestor
Search the Collection
To search the collection you will need to follow this series of links:
⇒ Select the "Browse" link in the initial search page
⇒ Select the "Event Type" category
⇒ Select the "Year or Inclusive Years" category
⇒ Select the "Certificate Numbers" which will take you to the images.
Look at each image one by one comparing the information with what you already know about your ancestors to determine which one is your ancestor. You may need to compare the information about more than one person to make this determination.
When you have found the information that you have been looking for:
- You can use the age to calculate an approximate birth date.
- Use the information you have found to locate the time of residence for the census
