From FamilySearch Wiki
The Nebraska State Historical Society and the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Library in Washington, D.C. at http://www.dar.org/ have 19 volumes of cemetery transcripts. These list over 110,000 names from 150 cemeteries collected from 1975 to 1979 by Clarabelle Mares and Kathrine Petersen. Additional cemetery records are found in the DAR collection described in the "Genealogy" section.
Nebraska is also home of Fort McPherson, the site of a national cemetery established in 1873 on a 107 acre tract of the Fort McPherson Military Reservation. The remains of soldiers buried at a number of other forts in the intermountain area were relocated to the Fort McPherson National Cemetery between 1878 and 1947.
