Known Issues

Question #1: I am finding images misplaced in this collection. Can you clarify correct locations?
Answer #1: There are records misplaced in some of the counties. If you note in each county the browse points are identified with a C. R number. This is a county reference number. This can help identify records that are misplaced. For instance:

  • The Craven County C.R. number is 028 followed by other identifying numbers. There are other records in the browse point that are identified with C.R. 029. These are from Cumberland County.
  • In McDowell County the C.R. number is C. R. 064. There are many other records identified with the C.R. 065 number. These are all from Mecklenburg County.
