The Family History Department offers a computer program for genealogical notekeeping called PAF (Personal Ancestral File) for free.

Computer genealogy programs allow you to enter the name of your ancestors once, and then create a variety of family group records, pedigrees, descendencies, and other genealogical charts. These programs also have features that allow you to list sources, share your data with others, and store related family photos and document images.
