Chapelry History

PADDINGTON, an ecclesiastical district, partly in the township of Pendleton, parish of Eccles, and partly in the district of Christ-Church, Salford, parish of Manchester, hundred of Salford, S. division of Lancashire. This place, which is situated on the west side of Manchester, on the road to Bolton. There are two places of worship for dissenters. [1]
