Record Description

This Collection will include records from 1890-2005. The text of the records is in Spanish.

The collection includes births, marriages, deaths, indexes and other records created by civil registration offices in the department of Junín, Peru. Additional images will be published as they become available.

For a list of localities currently published in this collection, select the Browse link from the collection landing page.

Record Content

For the time being, the only records available in this collection are birth records. More images will be added as they come available.

Birth records may include the following information:

  • Name and gender of the child
  • Date and place of birth
  • Parents’ names

Marriage records may include the following information:

  • Groom’s name, birth date or age, marital status
  • Groom’s parents’ names
  • Bride’s name, birth date or age, marital status
  • Bride’s parents’ names
  • Date and place of marriage
Death records may include the following information:
  • Name and gender of the deceased
  • Date of death
  • Burial place

How to Use the Record

To search the collection you will need to follow this series of links:

⇒Select the "Provincia" category
⇒Select the "Distrito o municipalidad" category
⇒Select the "Tipo de registro y años" category which takes you to the images.
