MAY 2013 Class Update  

PLEASE NOTE: Each patron needs a Family Search Account or an LDS Account in order to see your family in Family Tree.  If you are unsure whether or not you have an account, please bring to the center your membership identification number (from your temple recommend or the ward clerk),and both your email user name and email password.  Without them, we cannot get you signed in.  If you need to create a new account, please bring this information to the center at least 15 minutes before your class so you can be ready when the class begins.

Family Tree Review - 1:00-2:30 p.m., Tuesdays beginning May 7, 2013. Bring your questions for discussion.  Amy Roberts, Instructor  (Note the day change from Thursdays to Tuesdays.)

Family Tree Review, 10 - 11:30 a.m. Thursdays    

Digitize Your Photos and Documents at the Family History Libary - Bring your flashdrive and 4-5 family photos and/or documents. Learn to use the scanning equipment at the center to digitize the photos. 1:00-2:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 8, 2013


Family Tree – Adding Photos and Stories - Bring your flashdrive with family pictures and stories already on the drive.  Learn how to attach them to your family pages on Family Tree. 1:00-2:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2013


Family Tree Training for Stake and Ward Priesthood Leaders, Family History Consultants, and Stake Members

All classes: 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. at the Pocatello Idaho Family History Center
Because each class covers a different topic, patrons should attend all four.


 Class 1 -- Navigating Family Tree
 Class 2 -- Add/Revise Info in Family Tree
 Class 3 -- Find/Attach Sources to Family Tree
 Class 4 -- Research in Family Search Family Tree
