Chapel History

Preston St Peter, St Peter's Square was created a district chapel in 1826 from, and lying within the boundaries of Preston St John, Lancashire Ancient Parish.

The church was declared redundant and is now used as  the Arts centre for the surrounding University of Central Lancashire campus.

PRESTON (St. Peter), a parish, in the union of Steyning, hundred of Preston, rape of Lewes, E. division of Sussex, 1¾ mile (N. N. W.) from Brighton.[1]
