IrfanView is a free graphics editing program designed for capturing and editing photos and documents. It is helpful in acquiring and preparing digital images for family history projects and genealogy programs. This class teaches the basic features and functions of this software. Photo Editing Basics

This series of classes focuses on the basic features needed to crop, repair and enhance photos for Family Tree and for your own general use. An introduction and use of Pixlr (Photoshop Elements look-alike) online editing software will be used during the class. It is great and also FREE to use from Autodesk (the AutoCAD Folks). Each class is designed to build on knowledge received in the previous class, so it is important to begin training with the first class. Basic computer skills are necessary. You will need to bring a USB flashdrive for class use.
