The Salt Lake City Cemetery is located at 200 "N" Street. BillionGraves has some photos of headstones, with transcriptions, on their site. There are other locations online with transcriptions of headstones from this large cemetery, which has tens of thousands of burials, and may be in fact the largest in the state. Because of the fact that the cemetery has been in existence from the early days of Salt Lake City's existence, many prominent figures from throughout the city's history are buried there, and the cemetery office offers a map showing where some of these people are buried at there.
The Family History Library is located in Salt Lake County and is the largest repository of family history records in the world.
The Salt Lake City Library system offers free access to Heritage Quest Online
